About KIPOK Pre & Primary English Medium School

KIPOK was established in 2023 and Officially registered by the government on 4th of March 2025 given registration number EM.21108. Kipok aims to bring quality English-medium education closer to underserved pastoralist communities in Ngorongoro District. We exist to equip children with the knowledge, skills, and character needed to thrive in secondary school and beyond.

Background & History

KIPOK Pre and Primary English Medium School was founded in 2023 by community leaders and co-founders committed to improving educational access for children of Ololosokwan Ward and the wider Ngorongoro District. The school was created after observing that many families travel long distances or even across the border to access quality schooling. KIPOK (which means “we shall survive” in Maa) aims to remove barriers like travel risk, high costs, and cultural disconnection by providing an affordable, local, English-medium education.
